Executive Headteacher's Welcome

We are proud to offer safe, ambitious, and therapeutic environment that take into account the diverse needs of all our pupils. By understanding and supporting these needs, we create the conditions for meaningful learning and personal growth. Our school is an inclusive community where every child is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. At Pitcheroak, we believe that education should inspire, challenge, and support. We work in close partnership with families and professionals to ensure that every pupil receives the care and guidance they need to succeed—not just academically, but as well-rounded individuals ready to make a positive contribution to society in whatever way they can.

Admissions

Admission of pupils to the school is through an Educational Health Care Plan or through an assessment placement as negotiated with the Local Authority. School placement of pupils with Special Educational Needs is typically determined by Worcestershire County Council (The Local Authority). Most of the pupils attending the school are resident in Worcestershire. The Admissions Process at Pitcheroak School is determined by ‘The School Admissions Code’ and ‘The Admissions Appeals Code’ written by the Department for Education (DfE).
